The Islamic states are mainly located in band to stretching from the equator to about 450-north latitude. Only the part of Indonesia is in the south of equator. Kazakhstan is above 45-north latitude. Excluding the small area of Turkey, all of the Islamic states are found in Asia or Africa. The countries like Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and Sudan have the area over two million square kilometers. Maldives islands have the area of just 298 square kilometers.
There are also some rich countries in the Islamic world which have oil and that’s why they are very rich countries. For example Kuwait, UAE, Iran and Iraq are the countries to have this wealth.
Many Islamic countries are hot and dry with few rivers and fairly
poor soil. In East Asia and Africa, most of them are full of deserts.
In many countries, agriculture is still practiced with the help of irrigation.
Over all, the Muslim countries are fortunate to have the natural blessings like oil and natural gas. As Saudi Arabia is the largest country to supply the oil in the world.
